The Nightstand Note That Glows Back At You
Write "goodnight" before bed. Turn off the lamp. Watch it glow.
That's the whole ritual, and it takes about ten seconds.
Lumidoodle is edge-lit acrylic, so the neon ink glows from inside your own handwriting — a plain note turns into something you leave the light off for.
Wipe it clean in the morning. Draw something new.
One of our most-gifted desk pieces this season
✓ Turn a plain note into something worth looking at
Neon ink sits on edge-lit acrylic, so your handwriting glows from within. A grocery list becomes the prettiest thing on the counter.
✓ A 10-second ritual that fits any evening
No setup, no learning curve. Plug it in, pick a marker, write. It lives on your nightstand or desk and waits for you.
✓ Wipes fully clean — no ghosting, no streaks
The smooth acrylic surface releases the ink completely with a soft cloth. Draw tonight, erase in the morning, start over. Thousands of times.
✓ The only board that's also a light
Most note boards go dark and disappear into the room. This one glows softly in the evening, so it works as quiet ambient light and a place to write.

Frequently asked questions
Does it glow in a normal lit room, or only in the dark?
You'll see the glow in a softly lit room, and it looks its best in the evening with the lamps low. In full daylight it reads as a clear board with colored writing.
Can I leave it plugged in all the time?
Yes. It runs on low-power LEDs and stays cool to the touch, so it's fine to keep on your desk or nightstand. There's a switch to turn the light off when you don't need it.
Do the markers dry out fast?
Cap them after each use and they last a long time. Standard neon fluorescent markers are widely available if you ever want to restock or add a color.
Can I stand it upright, or does it have to lie flat?
It comes with a stand so you can prop it up at an angle on a desk, shelf or nightstand. It works flat too if you'd rather draw on a table.
How to use
- Step 1: Plug the USB cable into any adapter or laptop port and switch the light on.
- Step 2: Write or draw directly on the acrylic surface with a neon marker. Give it a few seconds to settle.
- Step 3: Dim the room lights to see the glow at its brightest.
- Step 4: Wipe the surface clean with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth, then start again.
