Your Mantel Just Found Its Christmas Character
Picture the fire going, the greenery up, and one little dachshund stretched out on the mantel in his holiday best.
He's the piece guests notice first — the one that makes people smile instead of just nod.
Painted down to his paws and his sprig of greenery, he brings that playful, old-fashioned Christmas warmth back into the room.
Cozy, a little cheeky, and right at home next to your garland.
Painted detail you can see from across the room, not just up close.
✓ The piece everyone smiles at
Most holiday décor blends in. A long, low dachshund in his Christmas finest stops the eye — on the mantel, the console, or the windowsill.
✓ Matches the Christmas you already have
Warm browns, cream, evergreen, and berry red. He slips right in next to garland, candles, and the ornaments you've collected for years.
✓ Painted down to the paws
Face, paws, and greenery are picked out by hand. Up close he has personality. From the doorway, he still reads clearly.
✓ A keeper, not a one-season buy
Wrap him up in January and he comes back out every year — the figurine your family starts looking for.

Frequently asked questions
Where does it look best?
A mantel is the classic spot, but it also works on a bookshelf, a hall console, or a windowsill. Anywhere it has a little open space around it to be seen.
Will it stay put on a narrow shelf?
It sits flat and low to the surface, so it's stable on a standard mantel or shelf edge. Just keep it back from the lip if you have pets or small children nearby.
How do I clean it?
Dust it with a dry, soft cloth or a makeup brush for the detailed areas. Skip water and cleaning sprays so the painted detail stays sharp.
How should I store it after the holidays?
Wrap it in tissue or bubble wrap and box it on its own, not under heavier décor. Stored that way, it comes out looking the same next December.
