A Sleepy Dachshund To Warm Your Doorway
That bare corner above your door never did much for you.
Now it holds a little dachshund in a burgundy bathrobe, coffee cup in hand, paws hanging down like he just woke up.
He lounges over the top of the frame, so his paws dangle into the room.
You'll catch yourself smiling at him on the way to the kitchen. Small thing. Big warmth.
Hand-painted detail you can see up close — the robe folds, the mug, the sleepy eyes.
✓ Made for the ledges you already have
That empty space above your door finally does something. Guests spot him and laugh every time.
✓ Cozy morning charm, all year long
The bathrobe, the coffee, the half-awake pose. It's your favorite slow morning, sitting right there in the room.
✓ Sits on top — no nails, no holes
He rests over the doorframe instead of hanging from it. Nothing to drill, nothing to patch later.
✓ Choose from 2 warm finishes
Both work with wood trim, white trim, and the colors you already have on your walls.

Frequently asked questions
Will it stay put if someone slams the door?
He sits on the flat top of the frame, not on the moving door itself. A normal door close won't shift him, though a hard slam may need a quick nudge back into place.
Can I use it somewhere other than a doorway?
Yes. People put him on mirror frames, bookshelf edges, picture frames, and window trim. Any flat ledge with a clean edge works.
Does the door still close normally?
Yes. He rests on the top surface of the frame, well above the door's path, so nothing rubs or catches.
Is it safe for painted trim?
There's no glue, tape, or hardware involved, so nothing sticks to or marks your trim. Lift him off any time and the paint stays as it was.
How to use
- Step 1: Pick your spot — a doorframe, mirror edge, or shelf lip with a flat top surface.
- Step 2: Set him down so his body rests along the top and his paws hang over the front. Takes about 10 seconds.
- Step 3: Step back a few feet and check the angle. Nudge him left or right until the pose looks natural from where you normally stand.
